I recently had a portfolio consultation with the wonderful Tess Redburn, and we spent a lot of time talking about my website and how I use it. In trying to showcase everything I'm capable of, and all the crazy self initiated projects I embark upon, it's entirely possible that it was a bit of a "can't see the wood for the trees" situation. It didn't take me long to understand that were an art director to stumble across my site, they would somehow have needed to already know everything I was working on to navigate the tabs, and actually the one tab (Gallery) that they would make a bee line for, didn't contain my strongest work.
So, I've streamlined my website. Now all I need to do is keep working on content to keep that gallery fresh!
This blog seems to be the most practical space to keep anyone who's interested up to speed with life as Rob VonGlas, so keep checking back, and I'll try my hardest to keep you topped up with half baked schemes and unintelligible ramblings.
